Feasibility Studies
Bertolini Architects offers comprehensive and thorough feasibility studies for our clients. This is critical for larger, more complex projects to ensure that all constraints are considered, from environmental impact assessments to legal and statutory approvals. We review the project timescale from an early stage to ensure a smooth journey from concept to completion.
Outline Design Concepts
After the completion of a feasibility study, we prepare outline design proposals exploring numerous sketch options. We can produce hand sketches, visualisations and models to review the proposals with our client and the wider design team of consultants and professionals. At the end of this phase, our clients will be presented with a design concept of their preferred option.
Planning Drawings
We can prepare pre-application submissions and a full set of planning drawings to submit to the local planning department. Bertolini Architects has built strong relationships with local planning departments allowing us to guide our clients through the planning process, liaising directly with planning officers and attending site meetings.
Tender
The detailing of our designs is as important to us as the initial concept. We prepare detail drawings in-house to ensure full responsibility for the design and procurement. A thorough set of drawings at tender stage enables accurate pricing from a contractor and DRS will manage the tender process to ensure the selection of the right contractor for the project.
